Can you do all 4 of your services in the one day?
Yes, I absolutely can and that is what makes my offering so unique! Instead of dealing with 4 different suppliers you can hire just me for DJ, MC, Live Acoustic and Kombi Transport.
Most popular wedding package?
My most popular package is the Live Music Lovers. This includes:
Live music throughout the ceremony and canapes gives a unique and personalised touch with those Sunday Sesh Vibes! Then a mix of DJ and Live music during reception is the perfect way to get the party pumping.
Do we meet face to face before the wedding?
Yes, I believe meeting face to face is crucial to ensure that your day runs exactly as you have planned. Although we will no doubt be communicating back and forth over the phone and via email, meeting in person allows us to get to know one another and build a rapport before the big day. We can meet at a location of your choice at a time that suits you best. I can also do zoom meetings if you find this easier.
None of your packages suit my needs- can I tailor my own?
Absolutely this is your special day, and you deserve to have everything exactly as you desire. My packages are there as a guide, so you are more than welcome to pick and choose what works for you. Feel free to contact me and we can build the perfect individualised package together.
Are there any addition costs with your packages that I should be aware of?
I like to be 100% transparent that way there are no surprises. There are a few additional costs with the packages, this includes:

What is the best music for weddings?
Based on my wedding entertainment experiences I find a mix of Live and DJ tunes is the best throughout the evening.
Way before the wedding we arrange all your favourite beats and schedule them in as required. With high quality, professional music equipment my Wedding Music will have the entire room on their feet grooving the night away.
Remember not everyone has the same taste in music but I am intuitive and passionate about entertaining with music. I always strive hard to please even the toughest crowds so get intouch for one of the best moments of your life.
Can guests request songs on the night?
Definitely and I encourage it! This is what makes the night your unique wedding experience. My job as an experienced DJ is then to weave these requests into the mix to keep everyone boogying and the dance floor pumping.
What if our ceremony has no power?
That is not a problem at all, I have a battery powered speaker that I use for ceremonies where required.
Can we list the songs we want played on the night?
Yes, during the preparation phrase I send you a song selection form to fill out. This includes songs for some of your key moments such as walking down the aisle and the first dance. You can also include on this form a list of songs you would like played on the night. This is best used as a guide for your style of music then trusting me to give you the best possible experience. Being able to jump in and out of a suggested list, will allow me to read the crowd and make your night unforgettable.
How far out from the wedding do I need to supply my music requests?
If it is just DJ tracks, you can send requests as late as the night before!
We really have no idea when it comes to music, can you select all of or music for the day?
Absolutely and more often than not couples do! I have done 100’s of wedding and know what works and what doesn’t. The amount of ‘to do’s’ when an organising a wedding can become exhausting and overwhelming. This is one area that you can just hand over responsibility knowing that I will do whatever it takes to make your day amazing!
Do I need to organise a wireless mic for the speeches?
No, I already have wireless mic’s that are available for speeches.
How do you gain all of the information from us prior to the day?
During the booking process I have a client details form that I will ask you to fill out which will give me a lot of the basic information. From there we will be communicating as much as you need over the phone and by email, we will also meet in person at a time that suits you best.
I am really confused on how the order of events for the night, can you help with this?
Absolutely, I have hundred of run sheets that I can share with you and lots of tips as to how we can make the day & night flow smoothly. From there we can work together to build you own individualised run sheet for the day.
Help our MC has pulled out the day before, can I hire you at the last minute?
I absolutely can, all I need is a few basic details, and I can take from there! I tend to just read the crowd and bounce off what is happening on the day so it’s authentic and genuine. It should feel like a friend that is your MC, but with that professional touch, minus the worry that your MC will have one to many champagnes!
Will you learn a song for me to walk down the aisle that’s not on your song list?
I would love to learn a song for you. This is one of my favourite parts of my job. To be able to recreate a special moment through music for a couple to share in front of their loves ones is truly a blessing! As long as the song doesn’t require me to be a classically trained extraordinaire and I have sufficient notice, I am happy to learn any song that you desire.
I would like to book a mix of live and DJ for our reception. How does this actually work on the night?
I tend to start the evening of with acoustic sounds throughout the formalities. Then once its time to party I generally start off on the guitar, if everyone is digging the live tunes I’ll keep going. If I read the crowd and feel that some DJ tracks will get everyone on the dance floor I switch over and keep doing what works for the crowd.
How much notice do I need to give you for you to learn a song for our special day?
At least a few weeks would be great, more if possible! I want to make sure that your song is perfect on the day, so I want to give myself as much time to learn it and rehearse it as possible.

I want that party vibe so thinking I might need to hire a full band. How do you keep a crowd on the dance floor as a one a soloist?
That’s the great thing about being a one-man band, although I am just one man, I make it sounds like it a full band. Along with my acoustic guitar and vocals I use an array of percussion instruments, such as drums box, harmonica, tambourine, cowbell, harmonica and the trusty didgeridoo to create a dynamic and captivating sound that is sure to entertain your guests all night long.
How many people can I fit in the kombi?
The Kombi Van is fitted with comfortable seating for 6 passengers in the back and a premium shotgun seat next to me as your chauffeur.
Can we select play our own music?
Definitely!! You can either send a list to me prior to the day, otherwise you are more than welcome to plug your own phone into my stereo system.
Could you transport a child?
Yes I can! With children myself I love taking them for a ride in the kombi. I therefore have an anchor point built into one of the seats so I child seat can be attached.
Worst case scenario, what if we broke down?
In my younger years I was a mechanic, so I had the skills and ability to rebuild the kombi myself. The key to reducing the risk of a break down is consistent maintenance which I keep up to date on. In the unfortunate event of a break down, I do have the knowledge that I should be able to get us out of trouble quickly!
I would love to book you for my wedding, what sort of travel cost would I incur?
As I have previously mentioned I am lucky enough to have a little slice of paradise on the island so no accommodation cost. The only travel expense will the barge over to the island.
I am feeling lost with where to start in planning my Stradbroke wedding can you help?
I absolutely can. I am lucky enough to have been part of the Island since I was a baby, so I know this Island like the back of my hand. I have done hundreds of Straddie so I know all of the best spots and have been fortunate enough to work with the best and the best with other wedding vendors on the Island. All of this knowledge I can share with to help make your wedding planning easier!
